I am not sure how important the processing dates update, If you look in , there are many approvals whose mailed/application dates are well beyond Jul 17 (for TSC). This makes me question what is the processing date updates mean?
"Processing Date" means thay have touched all the files before that - from approval point of view (this is not just FP or Name Checks). This could be like - officer has seen every page of application and put his remarks related to approval.
They also continue to work beyond Processing Dates - our experience with EAD proves that.

On Page 3 they say total Employement based preferences number was 162,176

Isn't it enough to send a copy of the Affidavits of Birth and not the original. I think USCIS requires only copies of all documents. Correct me if I am wrong.

As the nurses. who are ahead in PD to regular EB3 folks, vacate the line using recaptured numbers (after the country quota is used up in a year) , next year they will not be still standing in the queue ahead of you consuming a valuable quota. The replacement nurses who could take the regular quota have to join the line at the back.

What you think about state of economy does not matter. You have few options at this moment. First of all update your profile. If you have EAD then yes you can do an AC21 but that means there is some company out there which has a job & salary that matches your labor profile. So if you can find one then the option is always open to make the switch.

My state in four lines
1) Came to US on F-1 Visa, never completed my masters
2) Shifted to H-1B and i have been with the same client and havent been to India for four years.
3) Now i am doing part time MBA from a top Ivy league school and i have $40,000 in loans from my MBA. i have not finished it as yet.
4) Applied for labor and priority date is Jan 2007 and i wanted to apply for 1-485 and AP and Skip H-1B stamping
But because of the july 2nd i cant do that anymore and i will have to go to H-1B stamping. I wonder what will happen if my stamping gets rejected. If dont attend classes for 4 months. My student loan will start asking for monthly payments. I am in a quagmire.
But still i have decided that i will go to India in any case and if payments become overdue for more months. I dont know what to do.
I had so many hoped on the current numbers . Any idea guys what can i do?

How long have you been on H1? Can you find a new job and transfer your H1 to a new employer? Your employer is legally bound to pay you the salary listed in LCA for H1. You do need to show evidence that you worked for your employer.
Collect all evidence that you can about your employment, salary, contracts, etc. Have copies of timesheets, all email correspondence, pay stubs, any written evidence about how your employer did or did not pay you. Keep evidence of you actually working during the time, copies of approved timesheets would be very helpful.
I am not sure how much money is in question here, but I would talk to a good attorney who understands immigration law as well as employment law in your state. Labor laws differ slightly from state to state. What state are you from?

Decided to go ahead and mail in the medical reports along with copies of our 485 receipts since my PD became current in the Aug bulletin. Hoping this will prompt them to dust off my application since I haven't had a LUD for quite sometime.
Sent it about 10 days back but haven't seen an update yet.

My I 140 alone was applied on July12th as we did not know anything about the revision that time.
I did not recieve the receipt notice yet and I called USCIS and they dont have a record of my entry yet.
Mine was a labor substitution with my current company itself. My current company is a multi billion dollar US firm and they go by the rules, so I am not worried about my I 140 approval.
Since my I 140 was applied based on a labor subsitution, and if my I 140 receipt comes in August ( lets say august 10th), would I still be considered in the July bulletin ?

You don't need to wait till the approval of your I 140 or the reciept notice. You are eligible to file I 485 right away. The attornys know how to do it. So don't waste time and send your I 485 in ASAP.

It all depends on the officer who makes the decision.
One of my friends applied for 140 in July 07. He got RFE on Mar 08 to submit payslips for 08. He was on bench from Jan08-Mar 08 and was not having payslips.
He just sent W2 for 07.
Surprisingly his 140 approved without any questions.
So, try your best to get the payslips or pray for the god!

I received a RFE on experience letters (EB3). I have searched everywhere but haven't found the format for a winning experience letter.

My son's PIO card and my renewed passport were arrived in less than two weeks time.
Applications were put in at Chicago consulate on 24 Jan in person. We had received my renewed passport and PIO card in mail on 06 Feb.
I would give five star feed back to Chicago consulate people.

I filed AOS during July 07 fiasco. It has been more than 15 months since the first fingerprint but I have not yet received 2nd fingerprint notice. I noticed a SLUD in May/09 but no notice. Anybody else out there who filed in July but don't have second fingerprint notice yet?
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, please read my earlier posts on re-using finger prints through the BSS (Biometrics Storage System) implemented a while back by USCIS. Only a small number of applicants will get a second FP notice. See the below for more information:
